Did you know that KC Branaghan’s is available for all your special event functions.  We can make arrangements for groups as small as 10 or as large as 100.  If your function calls for it, we can close the pub for a private party.

For all functions, including closing the pub for a private party, we only charge for food and beverage consumed.

If you would like to have a function in your home, but prefer not to cook…

We can prepare an entire meal and deliver to your home, hot and ready to serve.

Jameson’s Flight Event Tonight!

EVENT DATE: TONIGHT! DECEMBER 12, 2012, 6:30-8:40pm

Jameson Flight Event

 

As a unique departure from wine tasting, we will be featuring a Jameson Whiskey Flight Event. We will taste several of the Jameson Whiskeys from the “every day” to the exclusive “sipping only” marques. Included will be the following: Jameson, Jameson 12 yr, Jameson Gold, and Red Breast.

 

 

The Event will be held on Wednesday, December 12th (tonight) from 6:30-8:30pm. Representatives from the Jameson Co. will be on site to discuss the merits of each of their fine Whiskeys, and perhaps buy you a shot or two.

The Cost will be $35 per person

Pint Nite tonight is Lagunitas’ “Lil’ Sumpin Wild Ale”, a Belgian Style 8.85% IPA.  Buy the beer, keep the great Lagunitas Glass.

Review:

The great thing about Lagunitas is the fact they really strive for a balanced beer no matter what the style. This is hoppy and big as expected but the Belgian yeast strain adds some funk to the beer that blends with the IPA profile. I loved the long finish that was hoppy yet yeasty . Very unique from other Belgian IPAs and way too drinkable for the ABV.
